About Us
Who and What are we?
United Oregon began with United Martial Arts Academy, founded by Daryl Griggs. The dream was to build a safe space for the community to grow and learn together through martial arts. It started with a few kids, then soon their parents joined in, and their friends too. The dream outgrew UMAA in record time, the gym was full and somehow the community was still growing! So UMAA Health & Safety was born to bring in more of the community, then Yogi's Powerhouse, and now United Life/Business Coaching. With all these new spaces continuing to grow, we needed a launching space for the community find their place in the United Family, and thus we created United Oregon, a space for all. This organization is built for you, our community, to find space to grow, learn, love, and create. We can't wait for you to join the family!
